The Nederlandse Biologische Aardappelpool, NBA Pool, was grounded in 2017 through a coorperation between a group of Dutch organic potato growers and a no longer active packing station. The first cooperation dates back to 1995. The aim of the NBA Pool is to create an wide assortment of tasteful and robust potato varieties for Dutch and packers abroad, with enough efficiency for the growers. We continuously aim for a new assortment of reliable and tasteful potato varieties. The potato growers are spread across The Netherlands and are represented by three farmers, who together form the board of the NBA Pool. This board decides the strategy in close contact with Ben Bredek, who is the responsible for matters regarding cultivation, trade and administration.
